Policy
Last updated: July 2026
At Lynx n Co we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information we store about how you use our website, and — when analytics is enabled in production — measurement data processed by Google Analytics 4.
- Account and contact details such as your name, email address, phone number, and shipping address.
- Order information including the items you purchase, payment method, and payment confirmation status. We do not store full card numbers.
- Marketing opt-in preference when you choose to hear from us at checkout.
- Website activity we store ourselves for operations and admin analytics: a session identifier, action type (for example product view, cart add/remove, wishlist changes, checkout started, order placed, login, or register), optional email when provided by the action, related resource ids, a short summary, and metadata. This is sent through our website activity API.
- Google Analytics 4 (when enabled in production): page views, page entry and exit, clicks and form interactions, ecommerce and funnel events, and device, browser, and approximate location signals derived by Google, together with client identifiers set by Google cookies. Google processes this as our analytics provider — see Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process and deliver your orders and provide customer support.
- Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and service messages.
- Keep the site secure and understand how people shop with us.
- Improve products and the website, including measuring search, registration, product discovery, and checkout funnels.
- Send marketing communications only where you have opted in.
3. Information Sharing
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted partners who help us operate — such as payment processors, delivery couriers, and operational partners — and only to the extent needed to provide their service. When Google Analytics is enabled, event and usage data is shared with Google for analytics. We do not sell personal data.
4. Data Retention
We retain account and order information for as long as needed for legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. Website activity logs are kept for operational analytics and then deleted or anonymised according to our internal practice. Google Analytics retention follows the retention settings on our GA4 property.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request that inaccurate information be corrected.
- Request deletion of your data, subject to legal limits.
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies (including local and session storage) for essential checkout and account features, and — when analytics is enabled — for Google Analytics measurement. Details, examples, and how to manage them are in our Cookie Policy at /cookie-policy. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings; essential storage required for cart and sign-in will still be needed for the site to work.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date, and significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
9. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, reach out to our team on WhatsApp or via the contact page and we will be happy to help.
